Warwickshire Fire & Rescue Animal Specialist Team Help Horse at Ansty

Warks Fire & Rescue Specialist Animal Team Help Again:
On the 14th December, Warwickshire Fire & Rescue Service received an emergency call at 17:18 reporting a horse which was stuck in a brook on Grove Road in Ansty. One fire engine from Bedworth and the specialist animal rescue team from Rugby Fire Station were mobilised. The incident involved a horse which was stranded in a brook with a depth of five metres. Crews worked alongside a vet and used specialist large animal rescue equipment to extricate the horse safely. The horse was released at 18:55. We are so lucky to have this specialist team, well done to everyone involved. 🙂
